CAREER FOCUS
On completion of my Bachelor of Business (mid-2020) I am currently applying to complete my Honours, with my subject of focus to be Brand Strategy and Management.
With an entrepreneurial mindset, I launched my own designer swimsuit brand in 2010. Therefore upon completion of my studies I would be looking for roles in a freelance consultant capacity while completing my Honours degree.
Specifically seeking other fashion brands to utilise my 21 years of experience in the industry, as well as new knowledge acquired during my Bachelor.
Primarily my experience focuses on swimwear and within the surf industry, therefore I would target already established brands such as Seafolly, City Beach and Boardriders Inc., to possibly independently audit their manufacturing supply chains for ethical and sustainable practices.
Currently, monitoring the specialist recruitment agency: Who in the Zoo, for vacancies within the Australian fashion industry.

Seeking part-time or casual employment with a market leader, I would be positioned in a top management executive position, in Brand Management or in a Sustainability Manager capacity. Duties may include and utilise not only my university experience but my prior and current international business experience, in offshore production. All forms of marketing with particular focus on digital and social media and content creation for the brand.
Attending trade-shows worldwide for the Action Sports industry, I am well adept in creating brand identity and ensuring that the image is communicated effortlessly to the intended target market.
Personal strengths in leading and motivating others, both verbally and in written context. My ability to interact with Chinese National factory owners and merchandisers finds my credibility within these multicultural and multilingual relationships at high rapport.
With self-drive and motivation, my time and self-management is crucial for the all important fashion sampling and production timelines. Resilience under pressure is what has driven and seen me expand my knowledge as a mature-aged student from solely design aspects to executive level business acumen.
